The law has changed....you may now be married at St Peter's if any one of the following conditions apply:

  1. If either bride or groom has been baptised (christened) at St Peter’s 

  2. If either bride or groom has been confirmed at St Peter’s, and was prepared for confirmation here 

  3. If either bride or groom has at any time lived in Pedmore parish for at least 6 months 

  4. If either bride or groom has at any time regularly attended public worship at St Peter’s for at least 6 months 

  5. If either parent of bride or groom has lived in Pedmore parish for at least 6 months at any time after the bride or groom was born 

  6. If either parent of bride or groom has regularly attended worship at St Peter’s for at least 6 months at any time after the bride or groom was born 

  7. If a parent or grandparent of either bride or groom was married at St Peter’s

Yes. It is very similar to the wedding service, and has the same joyful atmosphere. It is suitable for any number of people - from 4 to 400! Find out more here

St Peter’s church has only three bells, hung for chiming. If you wish, we will chime the bells at the end of the service for a few minutes (there is no fee.)
