A Prayer for July 13th:
Heavenly Father, as we look forward to celebrating your love together we pray for our Rural Dean and Deanery Clergy as they prepare and organise the service and activities. Thank you for each of the 16 parishes in our Deanery and thank you for the richness in the variety of services that can be enjoyed each week. We pray that as we come together one in Christ that the name of Jesus will be lifted high and glorified.
We ask all though our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Eternal God,
you have made us for yourself,
and our hearts are restless
till they find their rest in you:
pour your love into our hearts,
draw us to yourself,
and so empower us to live the life you offer
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen.
